Solo artist Gyubin's solo fan concert 'GYUBIN 1ST FANCON
Gyubin, of Live Works Company, shared passionate interaction with the local fandom Really at the fan concert held at Hong Kong's AXA DREAMLND at 6 p.m. on Sept. 28. This Hong Kong performance was the third overseas fan concert following Macau and Taipei and the final stop of this year's fan concert tour, serving as a stage that once again proved Gyubin's solid global standing.
That day Gyubin captivated Hong Kong fans with explosive live skills and a variety of charms. She presented a 18-song setlist, including her debut song 'Really Like You' and the title track 'LIKE U 100' from her first mini album 'Flowering,' keeping the atmosphere at the venue heightened without a break.
In particular, Gyubin raised the venue's energy to a peak with special fan service prepared for Hong Kong fans. She delivered a medley of songs by IU, whom she has cited as a role model, arranged herself on acoustic guitar, conveying Gyubin's own color and delicate sensibility.
In addition, Gyubin perfectly covered Joey Yung's MY PRIDE(我的驕傲), one of Hong Kong's biggest hits, giving local fans a moving performance. Fans responded with enthusiastic support to the unexpected stage, and Gyubin left a deep impression with genuine emotion that transcended language barriers.
Gyubin also earned praise with a diverse repertoire, including an unreleased fan song she wrote and composed herself for the fandom Really, 'Forever Really,' and covers such as Rosé's 'A.P.T' and H1-KEY's 'A rose bloomed between buildings,' showcasing her credentials as a representative K-pop solo artist.
