Comedian Lee Eun-ji confessed she lost 10kg through running.
On Sept. 30, a video titled "Running helped Eunji succeed in her diet: Eunji's post-5km finish mukbang (feat. Nam Tae-ryeong)" was posted on Lee Eun-ji's YouTube channel Eunji and Lee Eun-ji.
In the video, Lee Eun-ji challenged a 5km run with comedian Nam Tae-ryeong. Nam Tae-ryeong said, "There is a celebrity marathon ranking and I'm registered as No. 3," and added, "I lost over ten kilograms. The more you lose, the faster you get."
In response, Lee Eun-ji said, "I used to weigh 65kg at my heaviest, but now I'm about 56kg. I lost about 10kg through running," revealing this to the surprise of viewers. She added, "When you run, the thought of running naturally makes you eat much less."
Nam Tae-ryeong praised running's virtue, saying, "Running is the best because you can eat whatever you want," and Lee Eun-ji nodded in agreement. Nam Tae-ryeong continued, "You will definitely get addicted to running. Eunji will find herself thinking, 'Why do I want to run more and more?' She has really improved a lot. When we first ran together she said, 'I'm better than when I first ran,' but actually that was a lie," prompting laughter.
In the end, the two completed the 5km. After finishing, Lee Eun-ji said, "Running is fun, and I become a brisk woman," and Nam Tae-ryeong reflected, "Running changed my attitude toward life. It wasn't really my personality before; I was diligent when doing Comedy Big League, but after running I became even more diligent. All the problems were inside me."
