On the 1st at a café in Gangnam, Seoul, an interview with tvN 'Bon Appetit, Your Majesty' actor Oh Eui-sik was held.
tvN weekend drama 'Bon Appetit, Your Majesty' is a survival fantasy romantic comedy about a chef who time-slips to the past at his prime and meets the worst tyrant and a king with absolute taste, and it concluded with episode 12 on the 28th.
In the drama, Oh Eui-sik played the role of the treacherous official and Yi Heon's loyal subject, the magistrate Im Song-jae, who met a heroic demise, delivering a passionate performance. He appeared at the right moments and stood out as a key ingredient in 'Bon Appetit, Your Majesty.'
About 'Bon Appetit, Your Majesty,' which ended with high ratings and attention, Oh Eui-sik said, "I am very grateful and having a happy time. Personally, this summer was very hot. Wearing a topknot and attaching a beard. Given the nature of the work where food had to appear every time, I felt like I spent the hottest summer," adding, "I think it was one of the hardest moments; during filming I often felt it was tough. But I received warmer love and interest than the heat I felt that summer, so it turned into happy memories. Going forward, whatever project it is, I feel I should work hard."
He continued, "I especially think most about the staff who worked hard together. Actors finish and do end-of-series interviews and get attention. Staff members relatively don't have that. Still, I hope they watch the reaction and feel happy and rewarded. I know how much they suffered," mentioning the staff.
He also said that he was about to take a reward trip to Vietnam, "It's great. One of the better reasons is that I can meet and reward the staff who worked hard together. It's not that I'm pretending to be a nice person. It's nice that with a reward trip the manager can go on the trip. They worked so hard. I receive a lot of congratulations. I like that the gifts seem to go to the staff," attracting attention.
He added, "This week the gatherings with the staff start, and I decided to pay attention and treat them well. Also, I used to give one small gift to members of my agency every time a project ended. This time, instead of that, I wanted to hold a company dinner. I will do it soon," raising expectations.
