Singer and actress Suzy confessed that she learned cooking from her mother.
On the 1st, a video titled "Suzy's gambas recipe that calls for drinks" was posted on the YouTube channel "Chef Anh Sung-jae".
That day Suzy boasted of her cooking skills, saying, "I usually make a lot of anju. I like alcohol," and "I also make Korean dishes like gangdoenjang and rice cake soup myself." When Anh Sung-jae was surprised and asked, "You have quite a bit of skill?" Suzy candidly confessed, "But I use store-bought sauces. So I sometimes add to them."
Suzy presented spinach gambas to Anh Sung-jae. He explained, "It's a dish I really make often. Because I like spicy food, a lot of peperoncino goes in. It will be quite spicy." A flustered Anh Sung-jae said, "Let me take a look first," and, while worried, added, "If it resonates intentionally, that point is important. I'll taste it by restraining myself."
Also, Suzy said about her preferred alcoholic beverages, "I like soju first, and these days I like tequila. Tequila is the cleanest and best."
When Suzy began cooking in earnest she said, "My mother cooks well," and revealed she learned to cook from her mother.
