JYP Entertainment representative producer Park Jin-Young will serve as chairperson of the pop culture exchange commission, which will hold its launch ceremony.

On the day of the launch ceremony, Stray Kids and LE SSERAFIM are scheduled to take the stage and give a special performance.
The pop culture exchange commission is a newly established organization aimed at public-private cooperation and expanding international networks. Park Jin-Young, representative producer of JYP Entertainment, has been appointed as the inaugural co-chairperson (ministerial level) of the presidentially affiliated pop culture exchange commission and will begin full activities starting from the launch ceremony.
Park Jin-Young will oversee the establishment of national strategies and international exchange policies across popular culture, including K-pop, drama and games, from the perspective of an active industry producer. He is receiving attention especially because he is the first figure from the popular music world to hold a ministerial-level government position.
Park Jin-Young opened the U.S. market through Wonder Girls and has since led generational shifts with groups such as TWICE and Stray Kids, expanding the global standing of Korean popular music. Park Jin-Young said he would "organize the support measures I felt were needed in the field and connect them into effective policies. I will work to ensure younger artists can gain greater opportunities."
President Lee Jae-myung said he expects "K-pop, K-drama, K-movie, K-game and other proud Korean popular culture will take center stage on the world stage," and expressed confidence that "the pop culture exchange commission will solidify the foundation of our cultural industry and make a major contribution to leading Korea into a true global cultural power."
