TV personality Jeong Ga-eun confessed that she once suffered from celebrity syndrome.
On the 1st, a video titled "'Lookalike of Song Hye-kyo' Jeong Ga-eun's second life chosen after divorce (close friend Jang Young-ran shocked)" was posted on the YouTube channel "A-level Jang Young-ran."
Jeong Ga-eun, who made a hot debut on "Star King" as a "lookalike of Song Hye-kyo," later joined "Infinite Girls" and appeared on "Roller Coaster," becoming a huge hit.
Jeong Ga-eun lamented about "Roller Coaster," saying, "That character seemed to suit me. But it was hard even then. Because it was my first time filming in that format. There were no lines, and we filmed to match the narration. When acting, the narration wasn't completed before we performed. It was 6 to 9 minutes long, but we shot for 16 hours."
Jang Young-ran asked, "Didn't you make some money then?" and Jeong Ga-eun replied, "I prepared the jeonse deposit," while also confessing, "I kept going full speed and then celebrity syndrome came on a bit." A stunned Jang Young-ran said, "I'm really grateful I didn't meet Jeong Ga-eun when she had celebrity syndrome."
Jeong Ga-eun said, "You know I hate being late for appointments. Because I had so many schedules then, I ended up being late. If people with later schedules were waiting for me, I felt so sorry I thought I would go mad. I told the company not to schedule me like that, but in the end the apology was mine, and I went to the scene and snapped at the producers."
Jang Young-ran was appalled, and Jeong Ga-eun continued, "The other cast members were waiting in the studio while I was frantically changing clothes and the producer was outside knocking on the door saying, 'Please come out quickly' (pressing), and I was so irritated. I was anxious too, so I said, 'I told you I wasn't going to do it.'"
Hearing this, Jang Young-ran said, "You were properly struck by it," and Jeong Ga-eun said, "Then my work gradually disappeared. Maybe it was because I lost my manners."
She added, "And my identity is kind of neither a film actor nor a television actor in a position to say proudly; it feels like neither fish nor fowl."
When asked about the identity she wanted, Jeong Ga-eun replied, "I don't care. As long as I can make money. As long as I can work, it's fine. I just need places that will hire me for whatever work. That's enough." To this, Jang Young-ran laughed and said, "Gaeun has changed so much."
