"Vietnam pick K-iKON" ARrC perfectly captured local fans' hearts with their first official promotion.
ARrC (Andy, Choi Han, Doha, Hyunmin, Jibin, Kien, Rioto) held a fan event in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, on the 27th, once again proving their status as Asia's "hot iKON" amid enthusiastic cheers from local fans. The venue was packed with fans who arrived early, and throughout the performance warm cheers welcoming ARrC continued.
The event consisted of a mini live, high-touch session and photo events, during which ARrC raised the venue's excitement with a variety of stages including the title track "awesome" and the album track "vitamin I" from their third mini album HOPE. ARrC then drew fans' responses with K-pop cover performances and random-play dance, and Vietnamese member Kien received an explosive reaction by passionately singing local pop singer Trúc Nhân's hit "Bn Ch Lm (feat. Trng Tho Nhi)". A high-touch session followed, completing a special time of sincere interaction as they made eye contact with fans.
Notably, member Kien, who serves as an ambassador for global beauty brand "Dear, Klairs," has a strong fan base in Vietnam, so this fan event held in his hometown not only confirmed his local popularity but also showed ARrC's substantial presence as a group that has established a solid fandom in Vietnam.
Meanwhile, ARrC has been officially invited as a special guest to perform on the Vietnamese mega audition reality survival program "Show It All," which premieres on Oct. 4. "Show It All" is an audition program produced by Vietnam's largest media group YeaH1 and scheduled in the prime time slot of state broadcaster VTV3 to discover next-generation boy groups, and news of ARrC's appearance on a program that is recording top local buzz has further raised expectations among global fans.
Meanwhile, ARrC has established itself as a rising Gen Z icon through showcases, appearances on popular variety and talk shows, and global brand collaborations in major Asian countries such as Japan and Indonesia. In particular, in August they drew strong attention by successfully completing collaborations with global character IP "Karafuru," a large shopping mall pop-up store and fan events through promotions in Indonesia. Following a Japan fan meeting and a Vietnam fan event, they are expanding their presence as a "global hot iKON" through comprehensive activities at home and abroad.
