Yang So-young (54), a lawyer who sent all three of her children to Seoul National University, recounted the story of declaring a separation of lives (졸혼) from her husband.
On the 29th, channel A's 'Close friend to-ocumentary four-person table' featured actress Bang Eun-hee inviting her close friend, lawyer Yang So-young, and actress Yul-hee to talk.
Yang So-young recalled, "When I said I'm going to do 졸혼, I got calls from all over the neighborhood. They said they would pray for me. My husband couldn't even raise his face," she said, recalling the time.
She added, "I spent my 20s studying for the bar exam and married in my 30s. I got married without experiencing MTs, blind dates or travel, and 25 years have passed. In my mid-50s I hit a reality check. It wasn't about my husband; the desire to live my own life rose sharply," she said of her reasons.
She also said, "When I declared 졸혼, my husband told me to read a book. I thought it was a love confession, but it was an account of hospice experience. He had underlined the part that life of a couple accompanying each other at the end of life is beautiful. It seemed my husband wanted me to become his hospice," she said.
When Bang Eun-hee reacted, "That's cute," Yul-hee added, "He drops me off at the filming site in person." To that, Yang So-young said with a laugh, "That didn't happen before. He's become sweet even if only a little."
Meanwhile, it is reported that lawyer Yang So-young sent all three of her children—the eldest daughter, the second daughter and the youngest son—to Seoul National University.<
