Behind-the-scenes footage from the poster shoot that captures the vivid on-site atmosphere of "Last Summer" has been released.
KBS 2TV's new Saturday-Sunday miniseries "Last Summer" (directed by Min Yeon-hong / written by Jeon Yoo-ri / produced by Monster Union, Slingshot Studio), scheduled to premiere Nov. 1 (Sat) at 9:20 p.m., is a remodeling romance drama that unfolds as a man and woman who have been friends since childhood confront the truth of their first love hidden in Pandora's box.
The "Last Summer" poster shoot behind-the-scenes video released today (30th) features the colorful looks of Lee Jae-wook (as Baek Do-ha), Choi Seong-eun (as Song Ha-gyeong) and Kim Gun-woo (as Seo Su-hyeok).
Lee Jae-wook, who plays Baek Do-ha, a talented architect who returns to "Patanmyeon," where he spent childhood summer vacations, drew attention with a performance perfectly synchronized with the character. The tall, superior-proportioned actor emitted an aura reminiscent of a fashion spread and was reportedly fully immersed in "architect Baek Do-ha," flawlessly executing the staff's direction.
Choi Seong-eun, who plays Song Ha-gyeong, a municipal building official in "Patanmyeon" whose calm daily life is shaken by Do-ha's arrival, also attracted attention by showing professionalism. In particular, in the scene where Choi Seong-eun holds a game console with Lee Jae-wook, they exchanged playful looks, completing a childhood friend chemistry that brings a smile just to watch.
Kim Gun-woo, who transforms into Seo Su-hyeok, an appeals court lawyer with a 99% win rate, appeared in a neat suit, leaving a strong impression unlike his previous images. With a gentle smile and charisma, he added various gestures such as handing over documents, expressing the professionalism characteristic of the job. Following his strong impression as Son Myeong-oh in "The Glory," Kim Gun-woo has shown new sides each time, prompting curiosity about what transformation he will attempt in this work.
In addition, snippets of actual broadcast scenes glimpsed throughout the behind-the-scenes video further heightened prospective viewers' desire to watch the premiere.
Meanwhile, Lee Jae-wook said it was meaningful because the poster shoot had many scenes that would make viewers smile when they see them later, and Choi Seong-eun said she felt very familiar and comfortable because the poster was shot on the set where the drama was actually filmed. Finally, Kim Gun-woo added as a point of anticipation that it is a drama with fun and warmth within its calmness, making it comfortable for people of all ages to watch, raising expectations.
