Broadcaster Jang Seong-gyu handed the main MC position of "From One to Ten" to Kang Ji-young.
On the 29th, a press conference for T-cast E Channel's "From One to Ten" was held at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The conference featured PD Lee Jun-seok along with Jang Seong-gyu and Kang Ji-young, who appeared and talked.
"From One to Ten" is a trivia knowledge chart show featuring co-anchors Jang Seong-gyu and Kang Ji-young that, based on "food," expands into various areas from culture, history and science to restaurant exploration through storytelling.
That day Jang Seong-gyu, asked "Which of the two is the main MC?", opened his mouth and said, "I'm someone who really likes being the center of attention, and I'm the kind of person who always wants to be the center, the main."
Jang Seong-gyu admitted, "We've recorded four times so far, and while doing it I thought this can't be a place where I'm the main. By age and size I could be the main, but in terms of certain intellectual aspects... I'm lacking to be the main of a knowledge chart show."
He continued, "Watching Ji-young, I thought she is well-read and has wide (knowledge), and it would suit the program for Ji-young to be the main. I don't like admitting it, but I'm accepting it."
Meanwhile, E Channel's "From One to Ten" premieres on the 29th and airs every Monday at 8 p.m.
