Bang Eun-hee talked about her two divorces.
On the 29th broadcast, Channel A's 'Close Friend Tokumentary - 4-person dining table' (hereafter 4-person dining table) featured actress Bang Eun-hee, who appeared as a guest with her close friend Yulhee, a former member of the girl group 'LABOUM' that belonged to her ex-husband's company, and Yang So-young, the lawyer currently handling Yulhee's custody lawsuit, to talk.
Bang Eun-hee said, "It has been almost six years since the divorce, and my ex-husband seemed to have done something with my seal. Abroad. I was worrying alone when she said, 'Sister, I'm a lawyer. Ask me for help.' I thought, 'I have someone on my side.' I can't tell you how thankful and reassured I felt. It was so good."
Bang Eun-hee said, "The first marriage lasted 33 days, and the second lasted 30 days. I didn't value dating itself. (In my view) it's ephemeral. I was arrogant. That turned out to be only my thought. That's why I failed. It was because I didn't love myself."
She added, "I don't know what love is. The best thing I did was get divorced. The worst thing I did was get married. The good thing about marriage was giving birth to my son. When I had my child, I was grateful to be a woman. Before that, I hated being a woman."
Bang Eun-hee said the reason she decided to marry a second time after failing in her first marriage was because of her son. When he was young, he told her he wished he had a father.
Bang Eun-hee said, "He was remarried too, but he had no children. So he didn't know (what it was like). We ate together, but there was no conversation. How desperate must I have been to say that. When I asked my son about the divorce, he said, 'Mom, don't do it because of me. Live for yourself.' He matured so fast I felt sorry. My son even stamped [a seal] when he was in high school. I'm so sorry," saying she made the difficult decision to divorce a second time.
Bang Eun-hee explained about her recovery after the divorce, "Recovery is just letting it flow. I might be a workaholic. Some days I don't even leave the house and look inside myself."
