'My Little Old Boy' Cho Hyun-ah was crowned the goddess of crane games.
The episode of the SBS variety show 'My Little Old Boy' (hereafter 'My Little Old Boy') that aired on the 28th featured Cho Hyun-ah and Lee Hong-gi's "Osaka crane game" travel story.
At the airport that day, Cho Hyun-ah met Lee Hong-gi and said "Today is the only day that works for you and me, so we will go on the first flight and return on the last flight," and added "This is exactly the thrifty same-day Osaka crane game trip."
In a previous episode Cho Hyun-ah drew attention by revealing she had hundreds of prizes from crane games. Mentioning this, Lee Hong-gi said, "I saw that too. But quantity isn't as important as quality. I pick good ones."
Then Cho Hyun-ah said, "Don't brag," adding, "I've been to Japan more than 10 times to play crane games. So I'll save as much as possible and bring back a lot of prizes," which surprised everyone.
When Lee Hong-gi asked, "Aren't you going to eat?", Cho Hyun-ah laughed and said, "If you're thirsty, just win all the prizes. If you feel a little peckish, I'll get you potato snacks."
They soon arrived in Osaka. Cho Hyun-ah found a large crane game shop and began sweeping up prizes from the entrance, surprising everyone. At her skill of winning exactly as planned, Seo Jang-hoon said, "What is this. I'm so shocked I can't even react," adding, "If there's a competition I should enter. At that level."
Continuing her prize hunt, Cho Hyun-ah drew more than 20 prizes with both hands, capturing attention.
Lee Hong-gi also tried the crane games the way Cho Hyun-ah taught him, and as a result he was able to get the prize he wanted in one try. Surprised himself, Lee Hong-gi said, "What. I couldn't even react."
Cho Hyun-ah said, "Let's go to the second place," and visited a new crane game shop located in Dotobori. There the two met a local master known as the ultimate crane game expert.
Then Lee Hong-gi suggested, "How about a Korea versus Japan crane game match?" When the Japanese master readily accepted, Cho Hyun-ah said, "I'm representing Korea."
The Japan-Korea crane game match began. True to his reputation, the Japanese master won a prize in two tries, but Cho Hyun-ah won with a single attempt. Having succeeded in a one-shot, one-kill that boosted national pride, Cho Hyun-ah enjoyed her victory and finished a second prize draw.
Afterward the two found a karaoke with a bathhouse concept. Cho Hyun-ah asked, "How is it, isn't it nice?" Lee Hong-gi replied, "Even though I do a lot of activities in Japan, I don't often get to come to places like this. It's usually just performances and then I leave. There's a lot that's surprising," adding, "It's tiring though," and "Next time let's do my tour."
