Singer Mokbi-led band Wildflower first unveils new song "Yanolja".
The new song "Yanolja," released on the 29th, is based on a punk rock sound and carries the message "Don't think it's too late; enjoy this moment."
All members personally wrote, composed and arranged the song and participated in producing, and critics say it infused Wildflower's retro sensibility. In particular, along with the whirlwind of K-pop Demon Hunters ('Kedehun'), the music video for "Yanolja" was expressed in various ways with elements that represent Korea's entertaining aspects to further heighten immersion in the lyrics, and the jacket image and music video were produced with AI, promising not only music but also visual enjoyment.
The band Wildflower is composed of top performers and music directors in their fields, centered on Mokbi (vocals), Kang Seon-woo (guitar), Kim Ju-seong (bass), Bae Ho-jun (drums) and Jeong Gwang-ho (keyboard).
Singer Mokbi was recently introduced in KBS Human Theater "My Love Mokbi" as a singer who survived cancer twice and lives brightly with music, drawing great public interest.
The agency head said, "The music of Wildflower, with Mokbi, was newly produced with a focus on honestly and uniquely telling the stories of everyone who lives as if they were ageless. Seeing them perform in various styles has greatly piqued the curiosity and interest of fellow musicians," and added, "Even before 'Yanolja' was released, there were many concert bookings, so they are very busy, and the planned concert will be held in Nov."
Meanwhile, fans, who have high expectations for the meeting of Wildflower's distinctive deep emotion and funky energy, saw the new song "Yanolja" released at noon on the 29th through online music sites.
