HYBE said on the 29th that it held the "2025 HYBE FAMILY NIGHT" at its Yongsan headquarters in Seoul on the 27th.
HYBE Family Night, which began in 2023 and marked its third year this year, is an in-house event that invites employees' families and acquaintances to the headquarters on the day of the "Seoul International Fireworks Festival" held at Yeouido Hangang Park in Seoul. This year, 936 people applied, recording a high competition rate of 13 to 1, and 73 teams were selected by lottery, with about 250 people invited.
HYBE's Yongsan headquarters is located near Hangang Bridge, making it an ideal place to watch the fireworks festival with an unobstructed view of the Han River.
HYBE decorated the top floor of the headquarters—the best place to view the fireworks—including the company cafeteria, cafe, and rooftop outdoor garden—under the theme of "sky garden" to create an urban picnic atmosphere. Employees' families and acquaintances took photos at photo zones decorated with colorful flowers and butterflies and enjoyed dinner and a lucky draw event, spending a special time.
When the highlight of the event, the fireworks festival, began, cheers erupted as people watched the fireworks that brightly adorned the night sky, and families gathered in small groups to take commemorative photos. In particular, Chairman Bang Si-hyuk made a surprise visit that day, greeted employees and their families, and enjoyed watching the fireworks with them. Chairman Bang thanked the families who visited the headquarters, offered words of goodwill, and responded to photo requests.
Ahead of the Family Night event, HYBE also held a "HYBE FAMILY DAY" in May to mark "Family Month," inviting employees' families for a headquarters tour. Families who attended the event toured various parts of the headquarters, including office spaces, a screening room equipped with theater speakers and a large screen, recording studios actually used by HYBE Music Group artists, choreography practice rooms, and filming studios, allowing them to understand the company and its work and to experience the corporate culture.
A HYBE official said, "We planned this to be an event that employees and their families who have worked hard for the company can experience and enjoy together, beyond simple welfare provision," and said, "We will continue to work to ensure employees feel satisfaction and pride in the company through various programs and systems."
Meanwhile, HYBE operates a variety of family-friendly welfare programs. It provides parental leave and congratulatory payments that exceed legal requirements, male and female parental leave systems, as well as family care leave and infant care fee support. It also partners with major domestic resorts and hotels to allow employees to use them at discounted rates.
