Today (28th), ahead of the final episode broadcast, in the tvN Saturday-Sunday drama Bon Appetit, Your Majesty (directed by Jang Tae-yu, written by fGRD), actors Im Yoon-ah (playing Yeon Ji-young), Lee Chae-min (playing Lee Heon), Kang Han-na (playing Kang Mok-ju), Choi Gwi-hwa (playing Jesan Daegun), Seo Yi-suk (playing Queen Dowager Inju), and Oh Eui-shik (playing Im Song-jae) revealed their closing remarks, leaving a lingering impression.
Im Yoon-ah, who captured the tyrant's heart and viewers' hearts with her bold and strong-willed French chef Yeon Ji-young, recalled the filming process, saying, "Like Yeon Ji-young, who always cooked with sincerity thinking of the eater, this was a work in which I also looked inward and acted each scene with sincerity."
She continued, "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty required a lot of preparation and carried great responsibility, so I feel an unusually deep affection for it and it will remain in my heart for a long time. I am really very sad that it is already ending. The time I lived as Yeon Ji-young, and the memories of eight months spent with director Jang Tae-yu and all the staff, the colleagues and seniors and juniors who worked with me across the country, I will not forget for a long time. Above all, I drew great strength from the great love and support many viewers sent. I sincerely thank everyone who cherished Bon Appetit, Your Majesty and Yeon Ji-young," she said, bringing a touching moment.
Lee Chae-min, who charmingly portrayed the devoted love of the charismatic king Lee Heon, said, "I am happier and more thankful than ever that our drama could wrap up with much love and interest." He added, "It was a precious time that gave me a lot of learning, growth and happiness despite my shortcomings, and that lingering feeling still remains and has become a great driving force for my future. I will continue to strive endlessly to be an actor who can repay with good works and performances," raising anticipation for his future steps.
