"MZ wannabe icon" IVE (IVE: Ahn Yujin·Gaeul·Rei·Jang Wonyoung·Liz·Leeseo) appeared on a popular Japanese variety show.
IVE appeared on the popular Japanese TBS variety show 'Sore Snow Man ni Yarasete Kudasai SP (それSnow Manにやらせて下さいＳＰ)' on the 26th.
On that day, IVE joined the show's signature segment "Dance Wancopy Revolution" with local popular idol group Snow Man, who hosted as MCs, and another guest group, Travis Japan. The members took on a high-difficulty dance mission that tested whether they could perfectly copy choreography that everyone has seen at least once and continue dancing flawlessly without mistakes, providing rich spectacle and entertaining viewers.
In particular, Ahn Yujin took on Snow Man's ultra-difficult song "EMPIRE," Gaeul and Rei performed Arashi's hit "Turning Up," and Jang Wonyoung faced off with BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love," as the members staged a heated three-way dance battle of pride with other groups. In addition, Rei presented a special collaboration stage of "Ninjari Bang Bang" with singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, capturing the attention of local fans.
IVE, which officially debuted in Japan in 2022, proved its strong local popularity last year by entering the Tokyo Dome for the encore of its first world tour, "SHOW WHAT I HAVE." Then in April this year, the group drew about 100,000 spectators with a fan-con tour of four Japanese cities, "IVE SCOUT' IN JAPAN ("IVE SCOUT' IN JAPAN)" and confirmed the "IVE syndrome" again by topping Oricon's "weekly combined album ranking" and "weekly album ranking," and Billboard Japan's "Top Album Sales" chart with their third Japanese album released in July, "Be Alright."
Recently, IVE heated up local fans with a colorful performance at "ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025," one of Japan's four major rock festivals. Through this appearance on "Sore Snow Man ni Yarasete Kudasai SP," they once again showcased a different charm, drawing attention to IVE's future global moves.
