Comedian Hong Hyun-hee reflected on herself after psychiatric counseling.
On the 26th a video titled 'Hongsseun couple personality test results…! I didn't know it was this bad' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Hong Hyun-hee Jasson's Hongsseun TV.'
That day Hong Hyun-hee visited a psychiatrist, saying she had become overloaded from a life repeated between work and childrearing. In counseling she said she had no hobbies or tastes and lamented, "My child really likes cars right now. I don't have anything I like like a fan. I need to find that, but I don't even know how to find it."
As a result of the counseling, the specialist advised Hong Hyun-hee, "Try to think less and act, don't worry about what others think and pay attention to yourself. I hope you listen to your heart about what you like. Finally, leave it to Jasson."
Afterwards Hong Hyun-hee said, "I really like organizing the things in my head. I doubted that this would be the kind of person I am, but I gained confidence (through counseling). I think how I should change has become somewhat concrete."
She added, "I'm really famous for worrying about what others think. That has advantages professionally, of course, but as I get older it's increasingly hard on me, and when I was told to pay attention to myself I welled up. I felt so sorry for myself."
Hong Hyun-hee also said, "Counseling doesn't seem grandiose. Just going and talking about myself and getting to know myself—I think that alone is a tremendous change, so if I take that time I might become a more energetic version of myself than I am now."
Asked what she would like to try in the future, Hong Hyun-hee said, "I want to invite friends to a gathering I like and try the menu I enjoy that day, or when dining out with Mr. E-sseun decide and order what I like. I want to try a same-day solo trip or go alone to learn something."
She then reflected on herself, saying, "I think the most important thing is to ask myself a lot of questions."
