Vocalist K.Will (real name: Kim Hyung-soo) presented a "spear and spear" talk with broadcaster Kim Gu-ra.
K.Will recently released a new episode of "Knowing Hyungsoo" through his YouTube channel "Hyungsoo is K.Will."
In the released video, K.Will invited a special guest, Kim Gu-ra, to celebrate the first anniversary of the "Hyungsoo is K.Will" channel. The two, based on a long connection, freely shared a variety of stories including worries about running a YouTube channel, past episodes, and marriage, bringing laughter.
In the video, Kim Gu-ra brought up that he appeared after mentioning "Knowing Hyungsoo" with singer Baek Ji-young on MBC's "Radio Star" in the past. When K.Will recalled Kim Gu-ra's past remark at the time, "the name itself is too intuitive," K.Will joked about Kim Gu-ra's YouTube channel, saying, "How is it different from 'Geurigura'?" and teased a fiery back-and-forth talk.
The previously hot topic "figure incident" also came up. K.Will, who had revealed his figure hobby on broadcasts before the term "kidult" became popular, recalled a few years ago, "Someone who greeted me through an introduction said, 'But if you had started a figure YouTube channel back then, it would have been a huge hit,'" and added, "That was the first time I thought 'oops.'"
At the time, Kim Gu-ra, who accidentally dropped K.Will's figure during a recording, apologized, saying, "Back then, on variety shows, dropping something and those kinds of things were being situationalized. We responded to each other and I thought it wrapped up neatly as variety, but I didn't understand the feelings of the fans (otaku)."
K.Will also opened up about worries regarding the direction of his YouTube content. He said, "When I first started, I worried a lot about whether to sing or not," and added, "Funny thing is, Seokyung hyung said, 'Eating gukbap gets more views than singing.'" In response, Kim Gu-ra drew a line, saying, "That's Seong Si-kyung," and expressed his view, "I think it's right for a singer to go with singing. It is a blessing that a singer can sing."
The conversation about marriage continued. Kim Gu-ra told K.Will with affection, "There are various joys in the world from getting married and having children, and that is important," adding, "If you don't get married because of doubts or inconvenience, it could be a regrettable choice. I hope you meet a good person and get married."
Meanwhile, K.Will delivers a variety of entertainment every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. through the YouTube channel "Hyungsoo is K.Will."
