'Iron Girls 2' Park Joo-hyun capped the season with fierce challenges.
In tvN 'Iron Girls 2', Park Joo-hyun challenged herself with boxing, enduring high-intensity training to the end and breaking through limits of fear and stamina. She started as the weakest but ultimately became the team's center, proving the fruits of her growth with her first tournament gold medal.
She left some regrets in the final tournament preliminaries. Even so, she boosted team morale with passionate cheering outside the ring, revealing herself as the "heart of Iron Girls," and whenever momentum wavered she calmly soothed her teammates to restore focus, creating an emotional ending.
At the end of the series, Park Joo-hyun said, "The moment our girls were running in the final match was the most heartwarming. Although I didn't participate in the match, I cheered until I lost my voice, remembering the efforts and tears of our family who made it this far," adding, "I still vividly remember Yui, Saerok and In-a, who each finished their fights on the ring to the end."
She went on, "We each did our best, and watching us grow episode by episode was moving. Thanks to you, I was able to keep going until the end. I sincerely thank everyone who cheered for and joined our blood-pumping challenge."
Following season 1, which was her first sports variety show since debut, Park Joo-hyun proved the value of overcoming limits and teamwork again in season 2. Her growth narrative beyond fear resonated with viewers, and she is expected to continue diverse activities going forward.
