New artist Aru (ARU) stirs emotions with a relatable breakup song.
Aru will make her first greeting to music fans by releasing the new digital single "Here" at noon on the 27th.
"Here" was planned by producer Yang Jeong-seung through a rookie singer discovery project and was completed to best bring out Aru's individuality and color. Producer Yang Jeong-seung, who has experience successfully running rookie projects such as Kyungseo's "Stars in the Night Sky (2020)" and has expertise that led the growth of numerous artists, reportedly devoted a long time and great care so that Aru could also become a premium vocalist.
Matching K-pop trends with a medium tempo, the intense rock sound and sweet melody stand out in "Here," which conveys a message asking a lover to come back to "here," expressing the desire not to lose them when a breakup is approaching. Aru's uniquely clear-sounding vocals maximize the song's poignant emotions and deliver a deep resonance.
Producer Yang Jeong-seung said of "Here," which articulates the era's feelings of love and breakup in delicate and sophisticated lyrics, "It contains emotions anyone can relate to amid the pain of love and separation, and I worked especially to represent the hearts of women in their teens and twenties and to fit a more popular sensibility."
He also said of Aru, "To ensure Aru's voice could be delivered to the public with sincerity, she underwent vocal training and numerous recording guides during a long trainee period, and I completed every album work with sincerity," raising expectations for "Here."
Having taken her first step as a new artist, Aru is expected to deliver a strong impact to music fans through "Here," which contains her own musical color.
Meanwhile, Aru's new digital single "Here" can be listened to on various online music sites from 12 p.m. on the 27th.
