'믿듣퍼' MONSTA X (MONSTA X: 셔누·민혁·기현·형원·주헌·IM) made the official fan club Monbebe's 10th anniversary even more special.
MONSTA X met fans by holding the Monbebe 10th anniversary live broadcast "WELCOME TO MONBEBE DAY CAFE" on their official YouTube channel on the 26th. Conducted with an online birthday cafe concept, the members took on roles as staff of the "Monbebe birthday cafe" and offered a variety of fun with diverse talks and segments.
MONSTA X appeared styled like baristas and drew a hot response from the start. The members cleverly introduced their positions and specialties, and saying "Today is the birthday of the person I like most. I opened a birthday cafe for Monbebe," they blew out candles and made wishes as they launched into the full live broadcast.
Before the live, an event guessed who drew the latte art the members made, and the owner of the drawing was revealed during the live. Minhyuk surprised fans by saying, "I deliberately drew with my left hand and even drew a bear to pretend to be Shownu hyung," causing astonishment among Monbebe. Jooheon also showed affection for Monbebe, saying he drew a love tree.
In the following "Monbebe order time" segment, the members took time to fulfill orders left by Monbebe. IM chose love, Jooheon chose joy, Hyungwon chose memories, Kihyun chose sincerity, Shownu chose music, and finally Minhyuk chose laughter, and they exchanged them for almond, chocolate cookies, sprinkles, strawberry, marshmallow, and banana respectively to make MONSTA X's own cake. As it was the 10th anniversary cake, the members completed the cake with even greater sincerity and felt proud as they read Monbebe's comments.
IM opened the "Monbebe random question draw" segment with the witty line "At a cafe we mostly talk! Let's have a talk too," and the members drew and answered random questions left by Monbebe, resolving curiosity and revealing new facts to add interest. When Shownu was asked what he usually does at a cafe, he showed a "mukbang MC" side by saying, "I eat coffee and bread. I like brownies or chocolate-mixed cookies," revealing a small preference, and when asked about his preferred cafe seat, Hyungwon recalled a memory of going to a cafe with Jooheon and attracted interest by telling an episode, "We sat in the middle of the shop then, but it was too awkward, so I said let's leave quickly."
After sharing food preferences with Monbebe, MONSTA X, before ending the live, posed with the desserts they had made for a commemorative photo facing the camera, and left heartfelt congratulations saying, "Happy birthday Monbebe, and since we're all gathered, I hope it becomes a richer birthday." They continued to celebrate Monbebe's 10th anniversary sincerely and ended cheerfully by singing a birthday song for Monbebe.
