Park Young-gyu showed affection toward Kim Hee-ae.
The MBC variety show airing on the 27th, "Hangout with Yoo?" (directors Kim Jin-yong, Lee Joo-won, Ahn Ji-sun, Lee Do-eun, Bang Seong-su / writer Noh Min-seon) kicked off the long-awaited finals of the '80s MBC Seoul Song Festival.
At the festival, with Kim Hee-ae and Yoo Jae-suk hosting as MCs, the meeting between Kim Hee-ae and Park Young-gyu, who reunited after 36 years as festival MC and participant, was revisited. The two are said to have worked together in the 1989 MBC drama "Tomorrow I Will Forget."
Kim Hee-ae introduced the stage, saying, "I had forgotten, but it turns out we once sang 'Don't forget me' together. I don't remember it, but I'm very excited to see what kind of performance they'll show today."
Park Young-gyu, who went on stage, passionately sang "We." After the performance, following an interview, Park Young-gyu said, "I'll say just one more thing before I go. I met Kim Hee-ae today for the first time in 30 years," and during the 36-year reunion they exchanged handshakes and hugs.
Park Young-gyu showed excessive emotion, saying, "She was the first woman I loved in my life. I met such an outstanding actress back then, and I've lived off that ever since," and was eventually escorted off the stage, adding to the laughter.
