On the 26th, the production team of the web variety show Hal Myung-su, starring comedian Park Myung-su, posted an announcement on their official channel saying, "We inform you of a change in the upload schedule." The 255th episode that had originally been scheduled to be released that day was postponed to 5:30 p.m. on the 29th. Since the deceased's funeral rite is on the 28th, it appears they postponed it to the 29th to avoid that date.
The production team said, "We express our deep condolences and respectfully pray for the deceased's repose. We ask for the subscribers' understanding," and paid tribute to the late Jeon Yu-seong.
On the same day, the Im Ha-ryong Show also decided to delay its upload. Netizens also reacted that they felt heavy-hearted at the juniors' respectful actions. Comments continued such as, "He was such a big star that even comedy stopped," "I feel the respect for the senior," "I was moved to tears by the juniors showing proper respect," and "We respectfully pray for the deceased's repose."
Meanwhile, the late Jeon Yu-seong died at 9:05 p.m. on the 25th at Jeonbuk National University Hospital as symptoms of pulmonary fibrosis worsened. He was 76. The wake was set up in Funeral Hall 1 at Asan Medical Center in Seoul, and the funeral rite will be held at 8 a.m. on the 28th. The burial site was decided as Inwol-myeon, Namwon City, Jeollabuk-do, where the deceased had established his home, and the funeral will be conducted as a comedian's funeral.
