HYBE and Geffen Records' joint girl group KATSEYE has entered the main chart "Top 10" of the world's largest music platform Spotify for the first time.
On the Spotify "Weekly Top Songs Global" released on the 26th (local time) (Sept. 19–25), KATSEYE's second EP "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS (Beautiful Chaos)" track "Gabriela (Gabriela)" ranked 10th. It is their 14th consecutive week on the chart and the team's highest position to date.
"Gabriela" has been rapidly rising in popularity even though three months have passed since the song was released on June 20. Not only this song, but on Spotify's "Weekly Top Songs Global," "Gnarly (Gnarly)" is at 72 (21 cumulative weeks) and "Touch (Touch)" is at 156 (18 cumulative weeks), showing concurrent success.
Spotify's "Weekly Top Songs Global" ranks songs based solely on streaming numbers. In other words, regardless of country, genre or language, it is the chart that most directly shows which songs music fans around the world listened to most often. It is known to be reflected on the U.S. Billboard "Hot 100," so it has significant influence.
Spotify's monthly listener count also proves KATSEYE's explosive growth. According to the latest tally (Aug. 28–Sept. 24), KATSEYE has 31,301,474 monthly listeners. That is an impressive figure even compared with top K-pop artists. Considering KATSEYE has just entered its second year since debut, the achievement is more meaningful.
Previously, their performances at large music festivals in August, such as Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic 2025, became a hot topic on social media, after which many of KATSEYE's songs have been climbing back up various major global charts.
In fact, KATSEYE's surge continues on the U.K. "Official Singles Top 100" updated the same day. "Gabriela" rose to 40 this week's chart (Sept. 26–Oct. 2). It has shown eight consecutive weeks of ascent since Lollapalooza Chicago and reached a peak of 39 (Sept. 19–25), marking sustained popularity.
KATSEYE is also achieving notable results on the U.S. Billboard charts. "Gabriela" rose to 45 on the latest Billboard "Hot 100" chart (Sept. 27), setting a new career high. "Gnarly" also reentered at 97, showing strong momentum. The EP "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS," which includes these songs, has been on the "Billboard 200" for 12 consecutive weeks since ranking fourth.
Meanwhile, KATSEYE will embark on their first solo North American tour in November with 16 shows in 13 cities, and in April next year they are scheduled to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
