Singer Moonwon tearfully confessed his remorse to his wife, Ko Yo-tae's Shinji.
On the 25th, a video titled "I want to tell the story I couldn't tell until now" was released on the YouTube channel 'Eotteosinji'. In the video, Moonwon opened up about his daily life with Shinji and his feelings before marriage, and his eyes reddened as if overwhelmed with emotion.
Moonwon said, "I avoided people a lot because of social phobia I had never felt before. In that process Shinji helped and comforted me a lot. She must have been having a hard time herself…," expressing his gratitude. He continued, "During the Everland performance my wife took medicine but I only found out later when I watched the video. I felt so sorry," he revealed. Shinji comforted her husband, saying, "What are you apologizing for. I was trying to calm myself down, so why are you crying. It's okay."
Moonwon also blamed himself about the attitude controversy during the formal meeting, saying, "I was immature then. It was a mistake to try to speak trusting only what I had written down. I learned a lot from that." Shinji added, "Now we can talk about it while laughing."
In the video the two also revealed life in their newlywed home. Moonwon said, "A flower bloomed in the house we moved into and seeing that made me feel good," sharing the special meaning attached to their new home. He also said, "I became friendly with the neighbor lady and joined the neighborhood chat room," sharing small happinesses.
Finally breaking into tears, Moonwon vowed, "Every morning I tell my wife 'let's stay healthy today' and make sure she takes her medicine. It's my role to watch over her." Shinji smiled and said, "Honey, are you a crybaby? You said you don't usually cry. You're crying a lot because of me," but the two ultimately had reddened eyes together.
Meanwhile, Shinji announced her marriage to Moonwon, a singer seven years her junior, in June. Their wedding is scheduled for next year, and it is reported they have already completed their wedding photoshoot. The recently revealed three-story country house newlywed home drew attention.
