"Same-age" Jun Hyun-moo–Choi Kang-hee, who appear on "Jun Hyun-moo's Plan 2," share empathic talk alongside mukbang.
On the 26th (today) at 9:10 p.m., the full-fledged real street food documentary "Jun Hyun-moo's Plan 2" (jointly produced by MBN and Channel S) will air its 48th episode, in which "same-age" Jun Hyun-moo–Choi Kang-hee embark on a food trip that conquers two "restaurants worth lining up for."
That day, Choi Kang-hee, who appears as the "food friend," waits for Jun Hyun-moo on Jangchungdan-gil and introduces herself with "I am Korea's original ghost," drawing laughter from the start. Immediately after, when Jun Hyun-moo meets Choi Kang-hee, he shyly says, "We're same-age friends but actually it's an awkward relationship." Amid a strangely tense atmosphere, the two visit the oldest bakery in Korea and properly enjoy everything from cream buns to red bean buns. After that, Jun Hyun-moo describes the next restaurant and asks considerately, "You don't like standing in line, do you?"
But Choi Kang-hee replies brightly with "No, I like it!" as a pure mischief answer, leaving him embarrassed. Jun Hyun-moo explains again, "There are many customers on the way home from work, so let's go when we don't have to stand in line," but Choi Kang-hee retorts, "If it's a restaurant you have to line up for, shouldn't you try lining up?" and turns the scene upside down.
They then head to the "original of the original" jokbal restaurant and greet the long-awaited jokbal. Jun Hyun-moo closes his eyes and savors the taste, saying, "I came 10 years ago and it's the same impression." Choi Kang-hee also experiences the genuine taste of jokbal for the first time and exclaims, "Is it always this tender? Amazing!" as she rips into even the big bones in a raw mukbang.
On the other hand, when it comes time for "buckwheat noodles time," Choi Kang-hee asks the all-time "food-ignorant" question, "But what's the difference between makguksu and mul naengmyeon?" causing uproarious laughter. Later, after the mukbang, Jun Hyun-moo asks an empathic question, "We're in our late 40s, do you have realistic concerns?" and Choi Kang-hee says, "I've moved past loneliness," while also adding, "I'm envious of Lee Hyori, Song Ji-eun, Hong Hyun-hee," raising curiosity. Jun Hyun-moo then cautiously asks, "You probably haven't been asked this recently... what's your ideal type?"
