On the 31st episode of SBS Life "Queen of taste Kim Nam-joo," Kim Nam-joo was shown taking an outing to Gangjin and Bukchon hanok village. She was accompanied in Gangjin by her husband Kim Seung-woo.
Kim Nam-joo said, "They invited me to Gangjin two months after the hydrangea festival, so I'm going. I'll eat even more delicious things," adding, "With no children, we have more time just the two of us," saying the couple now had more cozy time alone together. Two months earlier, the "Queen of taste" episode that visited Gangjin for the hydrangea festival, featuring Kim Nam-joo and Kim Seung-woo, had been a hot topic.
Kim Seung-woo said, "I've been to Gangjin four or five times. I'll come to Gangjin again next month for a baseball game. People in Gangjin will probably think I'm from Gangjin," expressing his affection for Gangjin.
Kim Nam-joo shared her makeup tips after arriving at the lodging, saying, "I generally like foundations that provide coverage and color, but you should apply sunscreen one more time before you go. When I was raising the kids, I used to spray sunscreen every two hours." She emphasized, "If you don't like shine, apply sunscreen and lightly dust powder. For texture irregularities or blemishes, use concealer," and "You must apply sunscreen. It's directly linked to aging."
After preparing thoroughly, Kim Nam-joo visited Baegundong Garden. The modest yet neat hanok with a bamboo field draped beside it, spreading out like a picture, was a space created by a disciple of scholar Jeong Yak-yong of the Dasan school. Kim Seung-woo recalled, "I once played Jeong Yak-yong in a Chuseok special drama," and Kim Nam-joo described his role, saying, "It was a familiar role."
With their hunger, the couple went to a briquette barbecue restaurant. Kim Seung-woo said, "They say Gangjin has a bulgogi party every Friday. They said many people come from outside, too. It must be that good," expressing anticipation for the taste. The couple enjoyed the bulgogi to the fullest, each in a ssam and bibimbap style.
Meanwhile, Kim Nam-joo went on a solo outing to Bukchon hanok village. Kim Nam-joo said, "Eleven years? I think I came for an experience when my daughter was about 9. There are things where you can fully experience hanok. They say they still do it. I went around saying the kids should get to experience it. With my husband, we only go where we usually go, so I wanted to come and visit. I thought I wanted to come to this hanok-style atmosphere," indirectly revealing that Gangnam, where they live, is their main dating area.
Entering a props shop, Kim Nam-joo was captivated. Kim Nam-joo said, "It makes me think of my daughter a lot when I come to a props shop," as she picked up various cute items.
Then Kim Nam-joo picked up a peach T-shirt she found at a clothing store and said, "I love peaches that much," and suddenly revealed a pregnancy dream, saying, "My mother said in the birth dream she wrapped peaches by a stream and brought them."
