Singer Choi Woo-jin will release a new song, "Love Is Beautiful," about three years after his last release.
The new song "Love Is Beautiful" features lyrics that warmly depict the preciousness of love and happy moments, an upbeat pop-disco rhythm, and bright, sophisticated arrangements that blend refreshing brass sounds.
Hitmaker composer Song Kwang-ho, who created numerous hits such as "Parallel Line" and "Namiga," participated in the song's production, and composer Song Kwang-ho said, "While maximizing Choi Woo-jin's characteristically powerful and clear vocals, I combined the emotional sensibility of traditional trot with the refined appeal of pop to create a song that people of all ages can enjoy."
This song is regarded as a work in which Choi Woo-jin, who has adhered to an authentic trot style, attempted a bold transformation, and it is evaluated as a musical experiment that preserves traditional sentiment while adding a modern sensibility.
Ahead of the official digital release, Choi Woo-jin performed his first stage on MBC ON's trot program "Trot Champion" on the 11th, and on the 21st he unveiled an additional performance at iNETTV's Hamyang Wild Ginseng Festival 20th anniversary "Big Show with NongHyup," drawing explosive responses from the audience on site. After the pre-release performances, audience members evaluated, "The melody is easy to sing along to and the stylish rhythm stands out."
