Producer, DJ and artist DPR ARTIC will release his first remix album with hot producers from the music scene.
The album, to be released at 1 p.m. on the 26th, is a remix project in which skilled producers reinterpret DPR ARTIC's digital single "Mirror ball," released in April, in their own distinct styles, drawing attention.
DPR ARTIC is a DJ and producer affiliated with the DPR crew, noted for his distinctive sound making and live performances. After releasing his first joint EP with DPR CREAM, "NO DRUGS," he has taken part in festivals at home and abroad, enjoying worldwide popularity, including Superpop 2025 Korea held in Ilsan, Korea, Head In The Clouds Los Angeles 2025 (hereinafter "HITC LA 2025") held in California, U.S., and Lollapalooza Paris held in Paris, France.
The remix project features artists noted for their tasteful and distinctive production—Tomo Tc, APRO, BRLLNT and hakaseee—who are expected to create four versions of "Mirror Ball" that reflect their individual colors and spread fresh energy.
BRLLNT is an artist who has proven his presence by remixing songs by various artists such as Baekhyun's "Bambi," aespa's "Girls," and Mark's "Fraktsiya," and attempting "classic Korean song remixes." In addition, Tomo Tc, APRO and hakaseee also enjoy strong support for their solid producing skills, drawing attention to their collaboration.
Above all, when some tracks from the "Mirror Ball (Remixes)" album were suddenly revealed at R&B artist Moon Sujin's "Prism Heart" release party held in Itaewon, Seoul, on the 18th, fans responded explosively. Fans said, "I felt a charm different from the original," and "I can't wait for the official release," expressing high anticipation.
In particular, the original "Mirror Ball," based on the UK garage genre, drew attention for its rhythmic and sophisticated mood upon release and has continued to be loved, surpassing 830,000 views on the music video. With R&B artist Moon Sujin, noted for a soulful tone, participating as a featured artist to further enhance the song's completeness, expectations are rising for the remix versions infused with the sensibilities of leading producers.
Meanwhile, DPR ARTIC's first remix album, "Mirror ball (Remixes)," will be released on various streaming sites at 1 p.m. on the 26th.
