"My child's romance" PD Park Hyun-seok delivered spoilers about season 2 and the final couple.
Recently, Park Hyun-seok, the producer-director of the variety show My child's romance jointly produced by tvN STORY and t-cast E Channel, talked about the program in a written interview with OSEN.
My child's romance, which premiered on the 20th of last month, is a reality variety show that depicts parents watching their children date and the stories of children growing through romance.
The cast includes Lee Jong-hyuk's son Lee Tak-su, Kim Dae-hee's daughter Kim Sa-yoon, Ahn Yoo-sung's son Ahn Seon-jun, Lee Cheol-min's daughter Lee Shin-hyang, Park Ho-san's son Park Jun-ho, Jeon Hee-cheol's daughter Jeon Su-wan, Lee Jong-won's son Lee Sung-jun, and Jo Gap-kyung's daughter Hong Seok-ju, and while presenting fresh romances and drawing attention, the show is heading toward its finale.
At the same time, curiosity about season 2 is growing. In response, PD Park said, "If season 2 is produced, I wonder what it would be like to make the cast 30-something children. I think it would have such a different tone that it would feel like a different program from season 1," and added, "I want to handle a story in which marriageable children actually find a marriage partner. If possible, I'd like to increase the boarding period to about 10 days."
When asked about the final couple and their real-life couple situation, he cautiously replied, "There is a final couple. But I don't know the detailed situation after filming."
In particular, PD Park said that his most memorable moment was, "I remember the scene at the end when the eight friends parted. They were very sad with each other, and I saw them treating this time itself as precious in their lives. I liked how they said it was a meaningful time for each of them beyond just the broadcast."
