Singer Moonwon, ahead of his wedding, confessed his long-held apologies to his wife Shinji and shed tears.
On the 25th, a video titled "I want to talk about things I couldn't say until now" was released on the YouTube channel *How are you?!?*. In the video, the production team said, "He takes great care of people. He's like an energizer. But seeing that he's lost weight, it seems he has been going through emotional hardship," and mentioned Moonwon's changed recent condition.
In front of the camera, Moonwon said, "Because of social anxiety I've never felt before, I avoided people a lot. In that process, Shinji really helped and comforted me a lot. She must have had a hard time herself…" and could not finish his sentence. He added, "Flowers bloomed in the house we moved into. Seeing that made me feel so happy," conveying the special meaning in their newlywed home.
Shinji and Moonwon are living together in their new home ahead of next year's wedding. Moonwon said he has already become friendly with the woman next door and even joined the neighborhood group chat, sharing small daily life moments.
The production team mentioned the past matchmaking meeting controversy, and Moonwon recalled, "I was immature at the time. It was a mistake to try to speak based only on what was written. I learned a lot from that incident." Shinji looked back, saying, "Now we can talk about it with a smile."
But the most touching scene was Moonwon's tears. He reddened his eyes, saying, "During the Everland performance my wife took medication, but I learned about it later when I watched the video. I felt so sorry," prompting Shinji to comfort him, "What are you sorry for, I took it to calm my mind, so why are you crying. It's okay."
Earlier, Moonwon was embroiled in attitude controversy over a matchmaking meeting video right after announcing his marriage to Shinji, and private life issues followed, fueling public opposition to the marriage. Moonwon blamed himself, saying, "If I hadn't made mistakes, my wife would have suffered less," and added, "Every morning I tell my wife 'let's stay healthy today' and make sure she takes her medicine. Meanwhile, Shinji announced her marriage to singer Moonwon, who is seven years younger, in June. Although the wedding is scheduled for next year, they finished wedding photos early considering Shinji's schedule.
