A fact that Jimin of the group BTS donated a scholarship of 100 million won was revealed belatedly.
On the 25th, according to the Jeonbuk State Office of Education, Jimin recently donated 100 million won to the Love Scholarship Foundation under the Jeonbuk Office of Education through his father.
Jimin's father is reported to have expressed his intention to donate the scholarship by phone in July and recently delivered the donation.
Yoo Jeong-gi, acting superintendent of the Jeonbuk Office of Education, said, "I am deeply grateful for the warm sharing for the children's future," and added, "The donated scholarship will be delivered with care to students in need."
Since 2019, Jimin has donated 100 million won each year to one education office. From the Busan Office of Education to the recent Jeonbuk Office of Education, he has continued his good deeds for six years.
In addition, Jimin donated 100 million won to Rotary International for children with polio worldwide, and on his birthday he donated more than 100 million won to the Green Umbrella ChildFund, becoming a member of the high-value donors' group Green Noble Club. Jimin's father is also known to lead in volunteering and donating. Over the past three years he has donated about 76 million won to his hometown area, spreading positive influence together with Jimin.
