The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) hosted and organized, and the Korea Popular Music Performance Industry Association (hereafter "음공협") carried out the "2025 monitoring and campaign against chart manipulation and scalping" public service video (Another Way), which was released.
This video features the artist May 5th, who is loved for delicate sensibility and empathetic lyrics, and is notable for authentically conveying an anti-scalping message as she participated not only in the music production but also in appearing in the video.
The video was released in a 15-second short form and a 1 minute 30 second main version, highlighting the problem of scalpers who take away the hearts of fans waiting for performances and block artists' sincerity. It also visually conveys the seriousness of scalping through scenes of empty concert halls.
In particular, the video features the official anti-scalping slogan "Stop scalper transactions, protect the hearts of artists and fans," emphasizing that scalping is not merely buying and selling tickets but an act that damages music and performance culture and destroys the precious values of fans and artists.
A Korea Popular Music Performance Industry Association representative said, "Through the public service video 'Another Way,' we will widely raise public awareness of the seriousness of illegal scalper transactions and do our best to help a fair concert ticketing culture take root across society."
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) said they will continue various awareness-raising activities to spread a fair and transparent concert ticketing culture following the release of the video. They also said they will continue to promote public campaigns involving artists and fans and work to broaden public sympathy for eradicating illegal scalper transactions.
