As One, the female R&B duo representing Korea, will release their official final single, "Just Loving You," on Sept. 30.
In August, As One member Lee Min suddenly passed away, and today (25th) in the afternoon, their label Brand New Music surprised fans by unveiling the artwork for As One's new song on official social media channels, announcing the single's release which contains Lee Min's final voice, leaving a deep impression.
The revealed cover artwork was drawn by Lee Min's longtime friend, singer Lisa, and features a purple butterfly with the phrase "Wherever you are, I hope you are happy," notably echoing the anecdote of the "purple butterfly" that colleagues reportedly saw through tears when they sent Lee Min off, which became the backdrop of this artwork and moved viewers' hearts.
Also, As One member Crystal posted alongside the revealed artwork, "To the fans who have been a warm light by our side from our beginning until now. Thanks to you, we were able to walk the dream journey under the name As One. We will always cherish that through love, support and music we were always one," personally informing fans of As One's final single and adding to the emotion.
Brand New Music said it will donate a portion of the song's revenue to animal rights organizations that Lee Min had consistently supported and shared her heart with during her lifetime, adding, "We hope many people will remember and cherish As One for a long time through their music."
Meanwhile, As One's final single honoring the late Lee Min, "Just Loving You," will be officially released at 6 p.m. on Sept. 30 through various online music sites to offer warm comfort to fans who remember her.
