Hearts2Hearts released the audio and music video for their new song "Pretty Please," drawing attention.
Hearts2Hearts released the audio for "Pretty Please," a track from their first mini album FOCUS, on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 24th, and simultaneously released the music video on YouTube's SMTOWN channel and others, receiving a hot response.
In particular, Hearts2Hearts released a music video collaborating with the new Pokémon game Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A for "Pretty Please," naturally blending a variety of Pokémon elements into the warm-toned music video that captivate the eye: Chikorita, Torchic and Mareep drawings painted on the stairs; a Flaaffy keyring hanging from Ash's bag; a hand-drawn Pikachu slowly appearing as Yeon breathes on a window; the light on Chikorita that caught Yuha's eye shining through a wall; Bibi's wings drawn in colorful chalk with members sitting together on a tennis court; and monster ball–shaped clouds and fireworks floating in the sky.
The "Pretty Please" music video is also scheduled to be used in a tie-in for the Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A commercial to be released later, and Hearts2Hearts will perform "Pretty Please" on music shows this week — KBS2's Music Bank on the 26th, MBC's Show! Music Core on the 27th and SBS's Inkigayo on the 28th — which is expected to further raise global fans' strong interest in the new album.
"Pretty Please" is a new jack swing–style dance track characterized by a Moog synth bass and tight rhythms; the song's prominent synth leads evoke nostalgia, while the shift between emotional vocals and distinctive rap creates a unique mood, and the lyrics, which capture the thrill and preciousness of moments when simply being together becomes each other's joy during a shared journey, are striking.
Meanwhile, Hearts2Hearts' first mini album FOCUS will be released Oct. 20.
