'콩콩팥팥'을 잇는 '콩콩팡팡'이 또 하나의 대형 웃음 프로젝트로 돌아온다.
Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Woo Bin, and Doh Kyung Soo are teaming up for tvN's new variety show '콩 심은 데 콩 나서 웃음 팡 행복 팡 overseas exploration' (abbreviated as 콩콩팡팡), which is set to premiere on Oct. 17.
This season completes an even stronger lineup with Lee Kwang Soo and Doh Kyung Soo, who already worked together on '콩콩팥팥2', and Kim Woo Bin, who delighted fans as a surprise guest at the time by joining as an official member. The three, known as close friends, are heading to Mexico for a chaotic overseas exploration that is already generating high expectations.
'콩콩팡팡' is a Mexican cultural exploration in which KKPP Food employees travel to seek insights for company development. Portraying fictional positions as CEO Lee Kwang Soo, Deputy Minister Doh Kyung Soo, and internal audit team member Kim Woo Bin, they plan their itinerary from their lodging to activities by doing legwork themselves. The season's key point is the bittersweet mishaps that occur as they try to meet the budget within headquarters support funds and attempt negotiations.
In the released teaser video, Lee Kwang Soo drew laughs with his trademark exaggerated complaints, saying, "I can't broaden my horizons because I have no money now!" and "I'm itching to death because of the ants!" He even dropped a sudden line, "We got scammed. If my mother sees this she'll cry," foreshadowing that this season will also produce 'legendary scenes.'
Another teaser captured the three riding a boat toward somewhere in Mexico. Their faces, quietly sitting with facial masks on, are strangely still for a variety show, but that odd atmosphere provokes even greater laughter. Their serious poses in the accompanying poster also sparked curiosity about "what on earth is happening."
As news of the show spread, internet users have already reacted enthusiastically.
