Jung-woo, nicknamed "Meokkkaebi," the son of Kim Jun-ho on KBS2's Superman Returns, captures attention by doing a fish mukbang.
Superman Returns (directed by Kim Young-min, hereafter "The Return of Superman") has been loved by the public for 13 years since its first broadcast in 2013. In 2023, following Eun-woo, in the 2nd and 3rd weeks of June in the TV-OTT non-drama category for participant buzz, Jung-woo from The Return of Superman ranked in the top 10 for two consecutive weeks, proving he is the youngest and most talked-about sibling. (Gooddata Corporation standard) Also, in July he received the 14th "Population Day" commemorative Presidential Citation, showing the stature of the "national child-rearing variety show."
Episode 591 of The Return of Superman, airing today (24th), is titled "Thankful every day," and features the three MCs Park Soo-hong, Choi Ji-woo and Ahn Young-mi alongside supermen Kim Jun-ho and Shim Hyung-tak. Meanwhile, Jung-woo sets out to rank the "Meokkkaebi" hierarchy on The Return of Superman. Having conquered various foods including beef, jokbal and king crab, Jung-woo inhales eel and croaker, rising to become the top fish mukbang soloist.
Jung-woo signals the return of the Meokkkaebi by pleading, "I want to eat fish, fish!" and gesturing desperately for the fish. After smelling the fish through his nose, Jung-woo says, "I'll eat it with rice!" placing a whole croaker on hot white rice and popping it into his mouth in one bite, showing the air of a true food connoisseur.
Closing his eyes to savor the fish on his tongue for five seconds, Jung-woo opens his eyes wide and shows satisfaction with sparkling eyes. Scenes of Jung-woo unable to take his eyes off the croaker explode with cuteness. At Jung-woo's fish feast, Choi Ji-woo says, "I'm full just watching Jung-woo eat," and smiles contentedly.
Meanwhile, the twinlike cuteness of the "Woo brothers" Eun-woo and Jung-woo draws attention. Dressed in matching striped T-shirts for a twin look, Eun-woo and Jung-woo even resemble each other in hairstyle, making online aunts and uncles smile. Especially, the Woo brothers' identical taste for fish, like two peas in a pod, will deliver an explosion of cuteness.
