Actor Lee Byung-hun and film director Park Chan-wook appear on You Quiz on the Block for No Other Choice.
On the 24th, the film No Other Choice (director Park Chan-wook, supplied/distributed by CJ ENM, produced by Moho Film/CJ ENM Studios) announced that Park Chan-wook and Lee Byung-hun, the leads of the work, will appear as guests on the tvN variety show You Quiz on the Block (abbreviated You Quiz) airing that evening.
No Other Choice tells the story of office worker Mansu (Lee Byung-hun), who felt his life was so fulfilled that he thought "it's all done," but is suddenly fired and prepares his own war toward reemployment to protect his wife and two children and to keep the home he worked hard to acquire. It draws attention with the meeting of actors who combine popularity and acting skills and a development that alternates between tension and release.
Among them, Park Chan-wook and Lee Byung-hun make a joint appearance on You Quiz on the Block. Park Chan-wook and Lee Byung-hun, who are teaming up for the third time with No Other Choice following Joint Security Area (JSA) and Thirst, will show a special back-and-forth. Park Chan-wook is expected to talk about various stories from behind-the-scenes of film production to his rich filmography and how he finds inspiration, and Lee Byung-hun is expected to pique curiosity by candidly sharing his impressions of participating in the work and filming episodes with straightforward, sincere talk.
The witty humor of Yoo Jae-suk and Cho Sae-ho and the pleasant chemistry of Park Chan-wook and Lee Byung-hun will be broadcast today at 8:45 p.m.
No Other Choice is being widely screened nationwide in theaters on its opening day.
