The group cosmosy announced a super-fast comeback, firing the opening salvo of a full-fledged narrative.
Cosmosy will release their first mini-album the a(e)nd on global online music sites at 6 p.m. on the 24th. Released as their first physical album as well, the album drew intense interest from fans as soon as preorders began.
the a(e)nd includes the six tracks from the July pre-release BabyDon'tCry=BreakingTheLove to HIGH=LOVE, Princess=Kiss, zigy=zigy, Lucky=One and end=and (outro). Except for the outro, every track is composed as a title, making the album a bold experiment unique to cosmosy.
Through this album, cosmosy aims to show their distinctive worldview and musical identity in three dimensions. Rather than a simple ending, it depicts conflicts and growth in the album symbolizing a "Gate" toward a new world, and it is expected to present listeners with cosmosy's intense individuality and storytelling.
Earlier, cosmosy opened a fresh highlight medley video produced in a "diet video format," completing preparations to meet fans. In particular, the diverse short-form contents released together boast stylish direction that incorporates meme elements and high quality, greatly raising anticipation for the unveiling of the a(e)nd.
At the same time as the release, cosmosy will also hold a live broadcast on their official Instagram channel at 8 p.m. that day. They will communicate directly with fans, share their thoughts on the release of the a(e)nd, and continue meeting fans through active activities such as appearances on domestic music shows and fan sign events.
