Actor Min Seong-wook left a chilling shiver.
Min Seong-wook plays Yoon Dong-hee in the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama Shin's Project (written by Ban Giri, directed by Shin Kyung-soo, produced by DoFrame, planned by Studio Dragon), and his mere presence froze the air and left a powerful tension.
In the drama, Yoon Dong-hee was a figure at the center of a tragic incident involving Shin Sa-jang (played by Han Suk-kyu) 15 years ago. In that episode, Yoon Dong-hee first appeared through a past hospital visiting room scene. He stared at Shin Sa-jang in silence, creating a tense atmosphere, and combined with Shin Sa-jang's desperate cry of "why did you do it," it revealed that the shadow of the past was pressing down on the present.
Then scenes stained by a hostage situation and stabbing flashed by, raising viewers' tension even more. Yoon Dong-hee, drugged, shouted "I'm not crazy!" capturing the chaotic situation exactly and provoking curiosity about the reality of the incident.
Despite his short screen time, Min Seong-wook left a strong presence. With a cold, frozen gaze and a expressionless attitude alone, he revealed the character's unstable undercurrent, and with minimal lines and restrained movements he actually created even greater tension. In just a few scenes he changed the temperature of the story and raised expectations for future developments. Especially when he faced Han Suk-kyu, even their silence felt like a sharp collision.
In this way, in Shin's Project Min Seong-wook left a cold impression and breathed new tension into the drama. Attention is focused on what turning point he will create in the story's future development.
Meanwhile, Shin's Project, in which Min Seong-wook appears, airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. on tvN.
