Singer Kang Daniel suffered theft of his stage outfits and props during his U.S. tour.
According to Kang Daniel's agency, AIRA, after finishing his Los Angeles show on the 20th (local time) and while traveling to San Jose for the next performance, thieves broke into a staff vehicle and stole a suitcase containing stage outfits and hair and makeup tools. An agency official said, "It was bewildering, but the on-site staff and the artist quickly found (replacements) at places like shopping malls and were able to finish the show safely."
Kang Daniel also posted on his social networking service (SNS) account in English, saying, "All our luggage was stolen. They took the outfits, hair and makeup tools, and even the MD merchandise," and added, "Still, let's try to make it a fun show."
After placing first on the 2017 Mnet audition program "Produce 101" season 2 and debuting with the project group Wanna One, Kang Daniel has been active as a solo singer and actor. Starting on the 3rd, he has been on a large-scale U.S. tour that spans 12 cities, including Washington, New York, Chicago and LA.
