Singer Lee Sun-hee (61), who marks the 41st anniversary of her debut this year, recently transformed into a DJ at a music festival.
Lee Sun-hee took the stage under the name "DJ HEE" at Ultra Korea, an EDM (electronic dance music) festival held on the 20th at the Oil Tank Culture Park in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Photos released by Ultra Korea on the 24th through social networking services (SNS) show Lee wearing black attire, headphones, and glasses as she connects with the crowd. The organizer said, "Singer-songwriter master Lee Sun-hee, first stage as a DJ at Ultra," adding, "If you take on a new challenge at any age in life, that moment is your 'rizz' (prime)."
In 2023, Lee Sun-hee was investigated on suspicion of privately using the corporate card of One Entertainment, which she founded, and on allegations of embezzling funds from her former agency Hook Entertainment, and in Jul. last year she received a summary order imposing a fine on a breach of trust charge.
At the time, Lee said, "I once again apologize for disappointing the many fans who found comfort and hope in my songs for 40 years," and added, "From now on, I will live without shame solely as Lee Sun-hee, a singing artist."
