SBS 'Would You Merry Me' Choi Woo-shik, Jeong So-min, Bae Na-ra, Shin Seul-gi and Seo Beom-jun's fake love-line character posters were released, promising a thrilling, tension-exploding romance.
The new SBS Fri.-Sat. drama Would You Merry Me, which will premiere Oct. 10 (directed by Song Hyun-wook and Hwang In-hyeok, written by Lee Ha-na), is about a sweet-yet-ferocious 90-day fake newlywed period between two people trying to win a luxury newlywed home prize, and it raises expectations as reliable actor Choi Woo-shik (playing Kim Woo-ju) and rom-com queen Jeong So-min (playing Yoo Mary) meet to deliver solid acting synergy.
Meanwhile, Would You Merry Me released character posters on the 24th (Wed.) that look as if a proposal is taking place, drawing attention. In particular, Choi Woo-shik, Jeong So-min, Bae Na-ra (playing Baek Sang-hyun), Shin Seul-gi (playing Yoon Jin-kyung) and Seo Beom-jun (playing Kim Woo-ju) offering flowers to the people they are attracted to stirs curiosity about the heart-fluttering love lines that will unfold in Would You Merry Me.
In the character poster, Choi Woo-shik shows the chic personality of Kim Woo-ju, the 'perfectly flawless bread spoon,' resting his chin on his hand with an indifferent expression alongside the character copy "Fake husband..? Why me?", showing he is unfazed even by an unexpected proposal. Then the lovely "livelihood-type designer" Jeong So-min is shown offering a flower to Choi Woo-shik and proposing a fake marriage, saying, "Will you be my husband?" Woo-ju and Mary show contrasting chic and sweet expressions, and their fate-twisted meeting as a fake newlywed couple foreshadows a precarious romance. It raises curiosity about what changes the fake newlywed life that seemingly indifferent Woo-ju will experience with Mary will bring.
Bae Na-ra, who plays Baek Sang-hyun, has a sharp gaze that is meaningful. After sensing something suspicious about Woo-ju and Mary, who received the newlywed home prize, Baek Sang-hyun becomes their watcher and is expected to inject tension into the drama with his keen sharpness. Shin Seul-gi, who plays Yoon Jin-kyung, captures attention with moist eyes of someone in love. In particular, with the character copy "Somehow you became a man to me," Shin Seul-gi is shown offering a flower to the unknowingly falling Choi Woo-shik, teasing the intertwined love lines and piquing curiosity.
Finally, Seo Beom-jun, who plays Kim Woo-ju, Mary's jilted ex-fiancé and a womanizer, is captured with a mischievous smile. Offering a flower to Jeong So-min, he brazenly reveals his inner thought, "Mary and the house are all mine!" The appearance of Seo Beom-jun, who shares the same name as Choi Woo-shik's character and is Jeong So-min's ex-fiancé in the drama, draws interest in what ripples his entry will cause in the Would You Merry Me love lines.
With Choi Woo-shik, Jeong So-min, Bae Na-ra, Shin Seul-gi and Seo Beom-jun tangled into a five-way love line, anticipation soars sharply for the precarious, heart-throbbing, thrilling romance they will show.
