On the Dec. 12 broadcast of Channel A's 'Best Friend Note - Table for Four', Ki Eun-se candidly shared her frank talk.
That day, Ki Eun-se, who drew great attention on social media, spoke about how she established herself as a "first-generation influencer." Her airport fashion became a hot topic, triggering sellouts. Ki Eun-se recalled, "When I started using social media in 2012, the word influencer didn't even exist, I just started for fun. But more people became curious about my clothes, and as I posted steadily, fashion brands gradually started contacting me."
I asked how she opened the path to becoming an influencer. She said she wrote and sent her profile herself for New York Fashion Week and worked hard to be photographed in street photos. Ki Eun-se, who said she emailed brands directly to get invitations, recalled, "I wrote my self-introduction myself," and shared her appeal method, adding, "I sent it with as much exaggeration as possible."
After that, Ki Eun-se said, "Being at fashion week with them felt like a dream," and added, "I wanted to be photographed by the street photographers, and since they were there, they took my photo. It felt similar to when I was acting; it felt like this was where I belonged." Striving continuously to be able to attend fashion week, she said, "It was so fun," showing she was carving out her own exciting path.
On the show, Ki Eun-se married a Korean-American businessman 12 years her senior in 2012, but she revealed her divorce in 2023.
Responding to people saying, "I'm envious of living alone," Ki Eun-se, 42 this year, said, "I enjoy time alone, but I'm envious of the joyful and happy family life because of the children," and she also looked ahead to the possibility of a new relationship. She said she was sometimes envious of family bonds centered on the children. When Ki Eun-se said, "There's closeness; I wish I were a little younger," Park Kyung-rim asked, "Are you thinking about dating?" and Ki Eun-se replied, "I'll try hard, but I don't have the time," and kept her words brief.
Above all, on the ego segment, Yulhee introduced her divorce lawyer and said, "The start of life is divorce," and Park Kyung-rim asked, "Are you dating right now?" To this, Yulhee said, "I will date," keeping the possibility open and drawing attention.
Yulhee married FT Island's Choi Min-hwan in 2018 but faced a breakup in 2023. The two have three children together.
