Actor Imi-do revealed an anecdote about flying all the way to Dubai for a blind date.
On the 22nd, the YouTube channel "Elegant Mido" uploaded a video titled "What, still single? Practical dating strategies for singles! Big reveal." In the video, Imi-do shared dating tips and candidly recounted a special experience she went through.
Imi-do said, "These days people say they want natural meetings (seeking spontaneous encounters), but you absolutely cannot date by only relying on that," and emphasized, "Actually, I am a blind date expert. I have matched nearly ten couples through blind dates. If you really want to date, you must make every possible effort."
She recalled a time when her loneliness peaked and confessed, "I am a woman who went to Dubai for a blind date." While staying at her sister's home in Qatar caring for her nephews and nieces, she was introduced by a fellow expatriate, booked a ticket immediately, and headed to Dubai.
Imi-do recalled with a laugh, "He was a Korean who did architectural design and had very good manners," and said, "He showed me beautiful places around Dubai, so I had an enjoyable time. We didn't keep in touch afterward, but it remained a good memory."
Meanwhile, Imi-do married a man two years her junior in 2016 and has one son. She recently appeared in the KBS2 drama (drama) "24-Hour Health Club," and continues to be active through various works and channels.
