Cha Seung-won and Choo Sung Hoon are leaving for various parts of Asia to find the "red flavor."
On the 23rd, OSEN reported that Cha Seung-won and Choo Sung Hoon have confirmed appearances on a new variety show to air on tvN next year.
With this, Cha Seung-won returns to variety shows after a year. Through last November's finale of tvN's Samse Three Meals Light, Cha revealed a "Chef Cha" persona with a bigger hand than transfer, so expectations are rising about what kind of appearance he will make in the new variety show.
Choo Sung Hoon recently launched a YouTube channel and reached 1 million subscribers, and this year alone he has been active on several variety shows starting with Netflix's Try? Choo-ry!, including Handsome Trot, Choo Sung Hoon's You should earn your meal, One-shot project- My turn, and Our ballad.
The new variety show featuring the two is a program in which Cha Seung-won, who has shown outstanding cooking skills through various variety programs, and Choo Sung Hoon, who captivated the MZ generation with steak mukbangs, taste Asia's "spicy flavors" and create recipes themselves.
Direction is by PD Yang Jung-woo, who directed the Alssul Shinjab, Alssul Beomjab series and New singer Jo Jung-seok. The program will begin filming at the end of this year and is scheduled to air early next year.
Meanwhile, Cha Seung-won and Choo Sung Hoon have maintained ties since working together in the 2011 drama Athena: Goddess of War. The two, who became close after meeting during an action scene at the time, have continued to keep in touch. Attention is focused on the foods they will taste together in Asia and their "spicy flavor" chemistry.
