Ahn Na, the wife of former soccer player Park Joo-ho, opened up about symptoms she had ignored before being diagnosed with cancer.
On the 22nd, a video titled "Morning Ride, Home Cooking and Bedtime Stories" was posted on the YouTube channel 집에서안나와 - with ANNA. In the video, Ahn shared daily life as she enjoyed a morning ride with her husband Park Joo-ho.
At a cafe, Ahn spoke candidly about her fight with cancer. She said, "One thing I realized while fighting cancer is that caffeine really works," and confessed, "Before my diagnosis I could drink espresso at night and still sleep deeply. The ongoing fatigue was a symptom I just overlooked."
The video also showed an evening at home with the family. They prepared dinner with vegetables grown by the in-laws, and their daughter Na-eun caught attention by stepping in as a chef to help her mother. At bedtime, the family shared peaceful moments reading books and talking with the children. Ahn offered warm comfort, saying, "We are here for each other. You are never alone."
Meanwhile, Park Joo-ho married Anna, who is from Switzerland, in 2015, and they have two sons and a daughter. The family appeared on KBS2's "The Return of Superman" and received much love.
It was reported that Ahn's battle with cancer became known in 2022, and after chemotherapy and surgery she is currently recovering. Through a broadcast, Park Joo-ho said, "It is not a complete cure, but she received a good assessment and is under follow-up observation," revealing an update on her condition.
