Travel YouTuber and TV personality Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin, 33) invited friends from around the world to his wedding and promised to cover airfare and hotel stays.
On the 22nd, Kwak posted a video on his YouTube account of his visit to Sapporo, Japan. Saying he visited Japan to hand out wedding invitations, Kwak said in the video, "Right now I'm going around meeting friends. When I attended a Japanese language school in Sapporo for about a week early in the year, I stayed with a host family, and I'm still in touch with them and remain close."
Meeting an acquaintance, Kwak said he would "invite you to Korea," then added there was "a surprise" as he pulled out a wedding invitation, and continued, "I've prepared plane tickets and a hotel as a gift." His acquaintances applauded and congratulated him. Kwak also said, "I'm getting married and becoming a father," revealing that a child is on the way.
He said, "Human connections are amazing. Back then it was just a short homestay, but feeling how much they care and their sincerity makes me feel a lot. I'm very grateful."
