Group EXO member Suho (affiliated with SME) is receiving a global response as soon as his fourth mini album "Who Are You" is released.
The album, released on the 22nd, reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 20 regions including Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Russia, Thailand, Brazil, Finland, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Türkiye, Chile, Honduras, Jordan, Paraguay, Sri Lanka, Peru, Argentina, Fiji and El Salvador, and placed in the top 10 in 30 regions worldwide.
During the comeback countdown live broadcast, Suho said the current moment of the album's release is the happiest and shared behind-the-scenes stories about unboxing three versions of the album, noting that he paid attention not only to music production but also to hair and fashion styling, and he took time to recommend the seven songs included on the album according to fans' letters.
In particular, Suho explained the album's meaning, saying music seems to shine when paired with a story. This album asks everyone the question "Who are you?" He said he hopes listeners recall their own stories while listening, whether they think of what kind of artist he is or what kind of music they like.
He also expressed affection for the title track "Who Are You," which became a topic as an unconventional breakup BGM, saying "99.9% will like it without dividing likes and dislikes," and ahead of full promotions he will perform a live version of "Who Are You" today (23rd) at 6 p.m. on the YouTube 1theK Live channel's "Outdoor Recording Studio" content.
Suho will appear as a guest on KBS Cool FM's "Han Hae's Kiss the Radio" airing today, and will appear on this week's music shows to perform the title track "Who Are You" on KBS 2TV's "Music Bank" on the 26th, MBC's "Show! Music Core" on the 27th and SBS's "Inkigayo" on the 28th.
