The TV CHOSUN Chuseok special Hanil Super Match, which will bring a fresh pleasure to living rooms during the Chuseok holiday, will for the first time in broadcasting history present a face-off between professional ssireum and professional sumo wrestlers. To showcase the greatness of ssireum, Korea's traditional martial art, the top active ssireum wrestlers have come together. Then representative wrestlers of Japan's traditional martial art, sumo, will take on head-to-head matches, promising a big match.
In particular, MCs with various perspectives will be assigned to the ssireum vs sumo showdown that pits the pride of both countries against each other. Kim Gura, who has deep knowledge of sports and keen insight, was selected as the Korean team's tactical analyst. Following him, the "all-around entertainer" Jung Joon-ha, who will serve as the Korean team manager, and Cho Jung-sik, a former announcer turned caster who will showcase his skills, will watch this unprecedented big match.
